Yes. Every question was written against the exam content outline that took effect in July 2026 and the PMBOK Guide, 8th Edition, covering all three domains and 26 tasks. That includes the question types introduced for this version: point and click, matching, enhanced matching, multiple response and the rest. We are not running a PMBOK 6 or 7 bank with a new label on the front, which is worth checking on any simulator you compare us with.

Absolutely. Our platform is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices, including complex interactions like drag-and-drop which adapt seamlessly to touch interfaces.

We aim for the same level, not harder. Our questions follow the domain weighting and question types set out in the 2026 exam content outline, and the situational items are written with two defensible options rather than one obvious one. That makes a 75% here a conservative reading rather than a flattering one.

Your progress is constantly saved to our database. If you close your browser, lose connection, or accidentally refresh, you can resume exactly where you left off, and the timer will account for the elapsed time.

PMI does not publish a passing percentage. You are rated in each of the three domains as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, and your overall result comes from that combination rather than a raw mark. This is why chasing a single number is the wrong goal. Aim to sit at or above Target in all three domains in practice, because a strong Process score does not rescue a weak Business Environment one.

That is the most common way to fail an exam whose content you already know. Those questions test sequence and judgement: gather information before acting, check the plan before escalating, speak to the person before going to their manager. PrepFastPM gives every option its own explanation, so when you choose B you see why B fails and what choosing it would have cost, alongside the PMBOK reference and the ECO task being tested. A wrong answer is only useful if you find out why it was wrong.

You need both, and they do different jobs. PMI requires 35 contact hours of project management education before you can apply, and PrepFastPM does not provide them. We are a practice and readiness tool, not a training course, and we do not issue contact hours or PDUs. Complete an approved course to become eligible, then use a simulator to find out whether you are actually ready to sit. Skipping the second step is how prepared people still fail.

Thirty days is enough if your 35 contact hours are done and you can practice most days. Eight to twelve weeks is the more usual range for someone working full time. Be honest about which one you are. If your exam is booked and close, 30 days of access is the right amount of runway. If your date is more than a month out or not booked yet, 90 days costs $40 more and removes a deadline you invented for yourself.

Your eligibility period runs for one year from approval and allows three attempts within it, so a fail is not the end of the road. PMI charges a re-examination fee for each retake, lower than the first sitting but still many times the price of a simulator. Check the current figure on pmi.org, because fees change and differ for members. On our side, 90 days plan can be extended by 15 days, and if you are preparing for a retake, contact us about access.

There is no official number, because PMI does not publish a passing percentage. The working benchmark most candidates use is 75% or better on full length, timed 180 question mock exams, across at least three separate attempts, with no single domain sitting below 70%. One good score is noise. Three in a row is a signal. If you are scoring in the 60s, more questions on their own will not fix it, so go back to the weakest domain first and drill that.

Candidates commonly report answering between 1,000 and 2,000 questions and sitting at least three full length 180 question mocks under real timing. The mix matters more than the total. Five hundred questions you actually reviewed will do more than two thousand you clicked through. PrepFastPM holds 3,000+ questions, which is enough to keep every session fresh across a 90 day preparation with a rare chance of repeating yourself into false confidence.

Study Hall is PMI's own product, and its questions come from the organisation that writes the exam, which is a genuine advantage. Its trade-offs are that it bills quarterly until you cancel, the bank runs to roughly 790 to 1,120 questions depending on tier, and the explanations are brief. PrepFastPM is a one time payment from $29, holds 3,000+ questions, and explains every option rather than only the correct one. Plenty of candidates use both. If you can only choose one, choose by how you learn: official items, or explained items.

Yes. Practice Mode lets you filter by domain (People, Process, Business Environment), approach, ECO task, and question type, so you can build a short session around exactly the area you want to work on.

Full Exam Mode runs 180 questions across three blocks with a 240-minute timer. Block 1 opens with case studies that you cannot return to after the break, and the mix follows the blueprint across People, Process, and Business Environment. You can flag questions, strike out options, highlight the stem in three colours, and jump around with the progress map. Rationales unlock only after you finish, just like results on test day.

Yes. The Learn study guide is built for a phone: swipe left or right to move between lessons, choose from five reading themes (App, Paper, Warm for low blue light, Night, and OLED true black), set the text size between 14 and 22px, and keep the screen awake for hands-free reading. Practice and Full Exam Mode work on a phone too, including Matching, Point and Click, and drag-and-drop.

Coach names one thing to work on. Once you have 30 answers behind you, it ranks your ECO tasks and picks the weakest one that is still under the 65% target and has at least 8 answers of evidence, then builds a 10-question drill for it and points you at the matching Learn chapter. It stays on that gap until it reaches target.

Your dashboard tracks accuracy for each domain over time, accuracy by question type, proficiency on each ECO task, and how your time per question relates to getting it right. You can also download PDF reports of your sessions.

Time. Basic is 30 days. Pro is 90. The simulator, item types, Coach, Learn, and analytics are identical. Pick Basic if you sit the exam soon; pick Pro if you want a longer runway without buying twice.

No. PrepFastPM is the exam simulator and study system. You still need 35 contact hours from a PMI Authorized Training Partner (or equivalent) before you apply. PrepCast Elite and some Udemy courses sell that separately.

No. Access ends on the expiry date. You can buy a 15-day extension from your account, or start a new plan. Pocket Prep and Study Hall Plus renew unless you cancel.

No. PMI does not release past exams. Study Hall is the official PMI-authored bank. Our items are written to the July 2026 Examination Content Outline and the published item types, closer to sitting the real interface than a quiz app.
